Nashville Fashion Alliance brings recognition to Denim Days 2018 festival
Nashville, Tennessee – (October 30, 2018) The Nashville Fashion Alliance, a local nonprofit organization, is helping to promote the first ever Nashville Denim Days 2018 festival at Marathon Music Works from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2018 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2018.
Denim Days is an event based in Amsterdam with appearances in New York City and is making its way to Nashville for the first time this year. The Nashville Fashion Alliance has been promoting this event since 2017.
This festival brings indigo lovers from all over to experience brand activations, workshops, a vintage market, live entertainment and local food vendors.
Tickets are available online for $10 and will be sold for $15 at the door each day. Students can purchase a discounted ticket for $5 by presenting valid student identification at the door. Children ages 12 and younger will receive free entry.
“Denim is a fabric worn by all populations of the world, from the homeless on the street to even Barak Obama, you could even say that it links people together,” said Leon Blok, denim designer at LEBL Studios in Amsterdam and participant in Denim Days.
